Introducing Research Logix Networks

Each Network page currently consists of 3 primary sections:

  1. Summary – Name and Summary of the Network
  2. Members – Section to view currently assigned Research Logix Profiles and tool to add new Profiles
  3. Publications – Reporting page to show Publication output of affiliated Research Logix Profiles

Summary Page

The summary page will allow you to define a summary and list objectives about the Network. If you would like to make changes to the summary, use the toolbar option at the top, Edit Network Information.

You will have the opportunity from this page to change the name of the Network and make alterations to the Overview data of the Network.

If you would like to delete the Network, you can use the Delete option to do so. You will be asked to confirm your election to delete before it is processed.

Members

The Members section of the Network will allow you to view currently assigned RLOGX Profiles to the Network. When creating a new Network, the page will let you know that No Members are assigned.

Publications

The power of the Networks module comes into play when you have assigned all your affiliated Research Logix Profiles to the Network.

Based on the selected RLOGX Profiles, publications output will appear on the Publications page. Similar to our other publications reporting, you will have a summary and details page with a few reporting output options.

These options include:

  • Specified Date Range for Publications
  • Output as NIH Formatted, Data Dump, or CSV
  • Cancer Relevant, Non-Cancer Relevant, or Both
  • Journal Impact Range
  • Show Collaborations Only*

*Show Collaborations Only is a feature that will only display publications where there are connections between Network Members.

For NIH Formatted views, identified members will be bolded.

The Data Dump option will allow you to see additional data points in a data grid view

More to Come

Based on input from the Community we will continue to develop additional reporting that can be achieved by Network Connections. We believe that we have just tapped into the surface of what is possible within Research Logix Networks.

Creating a Network

Creating a new Network can be done from the main Networks page, by clicking the “Create New Network” button.

mceclip12.png

You will be asked to provide a name for the Network and have the option to provide a description with the text editor.
